The main theme for 2023 is leadership. Through dialogue sessions, video calls and online workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn about cultural diversity and understand different mindsets.
The programme aims to foster mutual understanding and cooperation between young people on an international scale by providing a platform for participants to step out of their comfort zone and learn about other cultures, traditions and languages. Through this programme, they hope to improve problem-solving skills, critical thinking and raise awareness of young people's potential as leaders and ambassadors for peace.
Eligibility criteria
- Have a good command of spoken, written and listening English.
- Be between 14 and 17 years old (teenagers) and 18 and 24 years old (young adults)
- Country eligibility: international
- Permanent access to the Internet during the week.
- Can spend about 4-5 hours per week on the programme.
- Applicants are NOT eligible to apply if they have participated in exchange programmes before or if they will be participating in an exchange programme in the summer of 2023.
