Association Burkinabè de Fundraising

"The most important thing, I think, is to have brought the people to have confidence in themselves, to understand that finally they can sit down and write their development, write their happiness and say what they want. And at the same time, to feel what the price is for happiness.

The Youth and Entrepreneurship Association at the service of endogenous development

The Association Jeunesse et Entreprenariat (AJE) is an organisation dedicated to community development. It recently organised a training session for 160 IDPs and young agripreneurs in liquid fertiliser and organic pesticide production techniques in four communes of the Hauts Bassins region, namely Karangasso Viguié, Bobo Dioulasso, Banzon and Koloko. This initiative was financed by the Fonds d'appui à la formation professionnelle et à l'apprentissage (FAFPA), which enabled AJE to strengthen the technical and operational capacities of producers so that they could produce liquid and solid fertiliser and organic pesticides for profitable agricultural production.

At the closing ceremony, the beneficiaries received production kits worth 4,900,000 Francs, which brought joy and gratitude to the project leader, the financial partner and the beneficiaries. For the association, the funding of a project costing about 19 million francs was successful, as the learners started producing bokashi and pesticides even before the end of the training.

Emmanuel OUATTARA, President of AJE, said he was happy to see that the association's efforts are bearing fruit and stressed that AJE is a partner association of ABF which has received training on mobilising support. In sum, this training initiative of the AJE is an important step to strengthen the skills and capacities of young farmers and promote community development in the Hauts Bassins region.
