The second phase of the 12e trajectory of training in local resource mobilisation. A total of 4 local development associations from the province of Bazega and one from the Grand Balés took part in this training course. They included
- Association of Fighting Women of Doulougou (AFBD)
- Association Bienvenue Théâtre (BTB)
- Association Paysanne Agro Ecologique (APAE)
- Association for the Emancipation of Rural Women (AEFR)
- And the YIRIKAN Association of Boromo
This training took place in a special context. The training, which is usually given in French, was partly given in the local language.
Mooré, given that the majority of participants do not speak French. Language is no barrier to learning. Courage and self-sacrifice are all that is needed. The different concepts of MRL were well explained. Surprisingly, the participants were able to assimilate all the concepts.
For Mr Mahamoudou COMPAORE, member of the Association pour l'Émancipation de la Femme Rurale (AEFR): [... the first and second phases of the training opened our eyes and enabled us to understand how our association works. We think that if other organisations like ours benefit from this training, it will boost endogenous development...].
A date has been set for the third phase, to take stock of implementation on the ground. Long live community development associations. Together for endogenous development.
