Association Burkinabè de Fundraising

"The most important thing, I think, is to have led people to have confidence in themselves, to understand that at last they can sit down and write about their development, write about their happiness and say what they want. And at the same time, to feel what the price is for happiness".
Thomas SANKARA

Priority area(s) of interest

The Julius Baer Foundation supports strong, well-organized and visionary partners with solid experience in their field. Please take into account the criteria specified in each strategic core area.

Main areas
Inequality in education

The Julius Baer Foundation identifies and supports educational projects and initiatives that help people born into poverty to break the cycle. Their goal is to reduce the barriers that disadvantaged children face when competing for opportunities that are readily available to the privileged. Their approach focuses on providing abundant and diverse learning experiences beyond the standard curriculum and is based on the principle that to develop your talents, you must first discover them.

Wealth inequality

The Julius Baer Foundation's initiative aims to raise awareness and advance the international dialogue on wealth inequality. At www.wealth-inequality.net they bring together experts, key players and stakeholders in the field to share their expertise, present their projects and provide examples of what works and what does not work against wealth inequality. Through a multi-stakeholder approach, they aim to build broad support for this quest, raise awareness of the issue of inequality and take action to reduce it.
