Wildlife Acoustics is proud to offer a programme of grants to support the advancement of wildlife research, habitat monitoring and environmental conservation.

The grants trimestrielles provides scientists with bioacoustic research tools to further their studies of bats, birds, amphibians and other animals. wild vocals.

In response to overwhelming demand, they have introduced a 'Kaleidoscope Pro only' subsidy option for candidates valued. They appreciate your commitment to having a impact and understand that time is of the essence, so they've streamlined these applications to get you back in the field (or in the lab!) more quickly.

Grant categories
  • Standard product subsidy
    • Wildlife Acoustics can allocate up to 12,000 $ of eligible products to selected grant recipients worldwide each quarter. Individual applicants can apply for product and software licences totalling up to 4,000 $ per quarter. They will highlight grant recipients and their projects on the website and social media platforms.
  • Kaleidoscope Pro grant only
    • Wildlife Acoustics can allocate an unlimited number of Kaleidoscope Pro licences to selected grant recipients worldwide each quarter. Individual applicants may request an unlimited number of software licenses.
Eligibility criteria
  • Grant recipients must be associated with a charity, educational organisation, NGO or other tax-exempt organisation. Consideration will be given to projects that make significant and innovative use of wildlife vocalization recordings for data collection and/or analysis.
    • This work advances scientific knowledge and contributes to long-term conservation.
    • The grant would have a significant impact on the success of the project.
    • The application provides adequate information to facilitate the assessment of the project, including detailed deliverables and the need for bioacoustic data to support these deliverables.
    • The project must start within one year of the award.
  • US and non-US government agencies are not eligible for the programme.
  • Due to the volume of applications, you can only submit one project per quarter.
  • If you have submitted an application and have not been awarded a grant, you can submit a new application in the future.
  • Kaleidoscope Pro annual subscriptions are eligible for the subsidy programme. In fact, there is a simplified application for those wishing to apply for a 'Kaleidoscope Pro only' grant. This shortened application will appear as an option when you start to fill in the information on the grant interface platform.
  • If your country does not grant tax-exempt status or does not provide documentary evidence, the online application will allow you to certify that you and your organisation will cover all applicable taxes assessed by your government.
  • Please note that Wildlife Acoustics cannot ship to Cuba, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Iran, Russia, Crimea or Belarus, or to anyone who Wildlife Acoustics knows will bring the products to these countries.
