  • Affordable and accessible financial products (e.g. low-interest loan products, insurance)
  • Ultra-high-efficiency renewable energy technology for truck, rail, ocean and air, including biofuels, electricity, wind, solar and water - accessible to the whole market
  • New packaging materials to eliminate/reduce plastic, increase recycled content and/or new ways of incorporating supply chain waste into packaging materials
  • Alternatives for increasing PET recycling and reuse
  • New solutions to improve water quality and availability in heavily used catchment areas.
Elements of equality for women

The winning solution will join the third cohort of organisations supported by the 100+ accelerator. Participation in the programme comprises three key elements:

  • Leader: The first three months of the programme are spent in the market (running a pilot in a specific geographical area). The start of the programme will require three to five days in New York for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 company representatives (preferably CEO/CTO).
  • Ongoing mentoring : After this phase of the programme, 100+ Sustainability Accelerator will provide in-person and remote business development and programming to further support startups as they evolve. Pilot execution will continue, as will potential investment opportunities from AB InBev and its partners.
  • Investment : 100+ Accelerator will invest up to 100,000 $ in the winning solution through an uncapped convertible note. The objective of this investment is to bring startups into AB InBev's investment portfolio and help unlock the value this can bring in terms of a closer relationship with AB InBev, globally, as well as the future investment potential of AB InBev and its partners. .
