At a time when press images are tending to be projected onto screens rather than printed on glossy paper, and when emerging companies are combining their projects across a wide range of media and texts, the Exchange continues to echo all these new documentary expressions.
Since 1998, the Bourse des talents has been rewarding the talent of young creators in the field of photography by supporting emerging photography every year. Over the years, this event, organised by Photographie.com and the Fondation Picto, has become a major event in the world of photography. event dedicated to recognising emerging artists. It acts as a springboard towards professionalisation and the market for these emerging talents.
Each year, two or three Talent Grants will be awarded to photographers whose projects are based on the following strategies documentaries The Talent Bursary is open to photographers of all nationalities, with an interest in all subjects and all forms of expression, and encourages committed and ecologically responsible approaches. La Library nationale de France will be exhibiting the photographs taken by the two young photographers who won the Bourse des talents as part of the annual "La photography at all costs". Each year, this exhibition of the prizewinners' work, produced by the PICTO laboratories, provides an opportunity to discover these new trends in contemporary photography. The Bnf's involvement in the Bourse des talents also gives the winning photographers and their remarkable documentary work the opportunity to enrich the collections of the Prints and Photography Department of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.

- One of the three winners will receive a Saif Talent grant worth €3,000.

Conditions of participation
- The Talent Exchange focuses on new documentary approaches used by young photographers to tell the world's story, taking into account the changing forms and constraints of image mediation. Each year, two or three Talent Bursaries are awarded to photographers whose projects focus on new documentary strategies, whether these involve an approach that flirts with the visual artist, science, literature or any other cross-disciplinary approach to history, or the use of new technologies to support narrative expression.
