Youth Association for the Development and Protection of the Environment (AJDPE) de Ouahigouya, is an association governed by Burkina Faso law that carries out a wide range of community activities to help improvement of the citizens of the city of Naaba Kango. Their commitment to a sustainable future is expressed through their flagship project, "Reverdir les Lieux et Services Publics de Ouahigouya" ("Greening the Public Places and Services of Ouahigouya"). The objective is clear: combat climate change and improve living conditions in public spaces.
The project to green public places and services in Ouahigouya was developed as part of the Giving for Change project run by the Association Burkinabè de Fundraising. Giving for Change builds the capacity of associations mobilising local support and resources.
The aim of the project is to contribute to combat climate change and improve living conditions in public spaces in the town of Ouahigouya. The aim is to green as many of Ouahigouya's public buildings and schools as possible.
