From 22 to 26 January 2024, a refresher course was held in Ziniaré for certified trainers of the Giving for Change programme implemented by the Burkinabe Fundraising Association in six (6) regions of Burkina Faso. A total of 23 certified trainers and 8 facilitators from the regions involved in the programme took part in this training session to maximise the impact of the Giving for Change programme.
The main aim of this session was to review facilitation techniques and revise the modules relating to mobilising support and local resources, while focusing on strengthening individual skills. The trainers and facilitators were better prepared to be effective in accompanying civil society actors in their activities to mobilise the support and resources needed to support local philanthropic initiatives.
