"The most important thing, I think, is to have led people to have confidence in themselves, to understand that at last they can sit down and write about their development, write about their happiness and say what they want. And at the same time, to feel what the price is for happiness".

Interests

This is a high-risk time for babies, and they believe that local groups can come up with innovative ideas to improve the health, survival and well-being of these vulnerable infants. The proposals for other types of project will not be taken into consideration.

This year, the focus will be on improving the lives of infants in the first year of life or (if appropriate to the specific project) the first few months. Infants are most vulnerable during this early period and CHF believes that small, innovative projects can have a major impact on children's health in a variety of settings.

Information on innovative financing
  • The maximum budget for these projects is 5,000 $ over a one-year period.
  • Successful applications receive 4,000 $ when the project is due to start and a further 1,000 $ on receipt of a final report.
