The Mama Cash Foundation
The Mama Cash Foundation supports around a hundred courageous women's groups, organisations, networks and funds run by women, girls and transgender people. Our beneficiaries are at the forefront of the fight for the rights of those who have most often been
ignored or rejected not only by society but also by more traditional funding bodies.
To be able to provide this support, Mama Cash raises funds from individuals, companies, foundations and governments. With the money we raise, we provide both financial and non-financial support to organisations defending the rights of women, girls and transgender people around the world. We also use our unique position as a feminist aid organisation to encourage other donors to devote more money to defending the rights of women and girls internationally.

Courageous organisations defending the human rights of women, girls, transgender and intersex people around the world need funding and support networks to grow and transform their communities. Mama Cash mobilises resources from individuals and institutions, provides grants to these self-organised feminist organisations and helps build the partnerships and networks needed to successfully defend and advance the human rights of women, girls, transgender and intersex people around the world.
