Purpose Earth is a grants and mentoring that empowers leaders to take action and find transformative solutions to global challenges.

Purpose Earth supports goal-oriented projects that find creative solutions in the areas of protection environment, community activation and cultural collaboration.

Areas of intervention

• Grant recipients Purpose Earth are selected on the basis of the project's alignment with the Purpose Earth mission and the ability to find solutions in the following areas:
  • Protecting the environment (projects aimed at mitigating environmental degradation, restoring/protecting natural resources or finding solutions to climate change)
  • Community activation (projects creating a positive and thriving community network while engaging in transformative change for the good of all)
  • Cultural collaboration (fostering creative expression and connections, while reinforcing the values of compassion and collaboration between communities and sectors)
• Projects must also be able to explain how a grant will support community impact and describe a clear process for designing, developing and implementing the use of the grant within a specific timeframe.

Information on funding

• Le funding of the grant can be up to 10,000 $ per beneficiary. If you are successful, you will receive both funding and mentoring support.

Eligibility criteria

• Each organisation may submit only one application.
• Organisations submitting more than one application will not be considered.
• Incomplete applications will not be considered for funding. Please ensure that all required sections are completed accurately and thoroughly before the deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
• All applicants are required to provide at least one letter of recommendation from a person with whom you have had a professional relationship, relating to your qualifications to lead the project and approve the project mission.

Ineligible

• No funding is provided for the following items:
  • Operational support, including salaries, wages or remuneration of consultants, contractors or advisers.
  • Travel assistance.
  • Fundraising campaigns.
  • Sponsorships, conferences or prizes.
  • Projects exceeding the maximum grant of USD 10,000, where a Purpose Earth grant would constitute only a fraction of the total project cost, will not be considered for funding.
