Are you a young entrepreneur aged between 18 and 35? Do you have a start-up that's less than 3 years old or a project/idea that's close to your heart and that you'd like to develop over the next few months? Is it innovative, with a positive impact on communities and/or the planet? If so, try to be one of the 100 start-ups of 2024!

Le Challenge Startupper of the Year by TotalEnergies is back in 32 African countries for a special edition celebrating the company's 100th anniversary!

The aim of this 4th edition is to support and encourage young African entrepreneurs to innovate and turn their ideas into reality. projects in their country of application.

3 categories
  • Inno'Up: To reward the best entrepreneurs, whether they are owners of a start-up or a small business. startup less than three years old or with a mature business idea.
  • Cycle'Up: To reward start-up or business ideas that illustrate the principle of the circular economy.
  • Power'Up: To reward start-ups or business ideas that aim to promote, create, produce or use sustainable and affordable energy.
  • Become one of the 100 Startuppers of the Year by TotalEnergies, rewarded in one of the categories.
    • 1 winner per category will be awarded in each participating country
    • 4 additional winners will be selected by an international jury in the Power'Up category
Rewards and benefits for the 100 Startuppers of the Year
  • Financial support: To support the development of your start-up or idea company.
  • Media visibility: Highlight the winners and their start-up/business idea in the media, with a dedicated local communications plan.
  • Coaching: Personalised support for the winners, depending on the maturity of the start-up/idea and their needs.
  • 100 Startuppers Event : Take part in a major entrepreneurial event and get in touch with key players in the African entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Who can take part?
  • You must be aged between 18 and 35 (born between 1 May 1988 and 30 April 2006)
  • You must be a resident of the country in which you are submitting your application. request.
  • You must have :
    • A start-up: Less than 3 years old and registered in the country of application no earlier than 30 April 2020
    • A business idea: that could be developed a few months after the challenge
