The Volant Trust is accepting applications from charities in the UK and abroad that demonstrate a strong focus on reducing social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been particularly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Trust recognises the amount of work involved in making an application and the Trustees are keen to help charities as much as possible before they apply for funding.

Applications for medical equipment and the production or distribution of PPE will also be considered.

Information on financing

The Trust offers a programme of funding which grants multi-year awards (up to three years) of £15,000 or less per year.

Eligibility criteria

• Is your organisation a registered charity, community interest company, community organisation or social enterprise?
• Are the project and the funding required specifically linked to the Covid-19 pandemic?
• Does your organisation contribute directly to reducing social poverty and the vulnerable groups that have been particularly hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic?
• The financing of project costs operation or basic does it include the purchase of medical equipment or PPE related to the Covid-19 pandemic?
• Does your organisation have its own bank account with at least two independent cheque signatories?
• Are your organisation's accounts independently audited every year?
