The Association Burkinabè de Fundraising organised a training course from 23 to 27 January in Kaya in the Centre Nord region of Burkina Faso. The aim of the training was to enhance the skills of programme managers from the Association pour la Promotion et l'Intégration de la Jeunesse du Centre Nord (APIJ/CN) in communication techniques and project writing. This training was carried out on behalf of the NGO PLAN International Kaya as part of a multi-sector humanitarian assistance project to support the most vulnerable people in hard-to-reach areas of the Centre-Nord region of Burkina Faso.
The training participants were all involved in development and wishing to improve their communication and project writing skills. The training programme included sessions on effective communication techniques, writing convincing projects, and strategies for obtaining funding for projects.
The trainers brought their expertise and practical experience to help participants develop their skills. Participants also had the opportunity to take part in practical activities, exercises and role-playing to put into practice what they had learned.
The participants expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the training and the relevance of the content of the various modules. They also stressed that this session would enable them to successfully carry out their missions and projects in order to obtain funding for endogenous community development activities.
In conclusion, this training course was a great success, offering programme managers from theAPIJ/CN valuable skills to enhance their work for endogenous community development in the Centre-Nord / Kaya region of Burkina Faso
