On Sunday 28 May 2023, at the school radio station, Mr Abdoulaye SAWADOGO, Director General of ABF, was awarded the prize for Association of the Year 2023. This prize was awarded to ABF by the local people, who, after identifying the structures working in community development, chose ABF as the best association to have had an impact on the community.
The Director General of ABF was very humbled to receive the award, and thanked the school radio station, the local population and community development workers for recognising the work they had done.
This distinction is also a testament to work well done in the field of endogenous development, but it is also an invitation to work harder for the benefit of communities in Burkina Faso, but also in the French-speaking sub-region of Africa.
This distinction follows the DG's elevation to the rank of Chevalier de l'ordre des mérites avec agrafe développement in 2022.
