HudsonAlpha AgTech Powered by gener8tor draws on HudsonAlpha's extensive experience in agroscience, in particular genomics. agriculturalplant breeding and diversity cultures; with gener8tor's national network of mentors and investors, and Huntsville's innate strengths as a technology centre. The programme invests in the best and the brightest startups that meet the challenges of food and nutrition food of a growing planet.
Each start-up receives a cash investment of 100,000 $ gener8tor, office space and access to gener8tor's global network of mentors and investors.

- The selected teams will receive a investment 100,000 $ in exchange for 7.5 % of your company's equity using a simple agreement for future equity (SAFE).
- Cohort programmes
- Weekly cohort programming covering topics such as understanding market size, choosing a revenue model and how to present to investors.

- Mentoring, coaching and one-to-one meetings
- Twelve weeks of one-to-one coaching and mentoring from the gener8tor team in bi-weekly one-to-one meetings. One-to-one meetings with 100+ connections, including serial entrepreneurs, industry experts and investors.
- Office space
- Participants will become part of the HudsonAlpha ecosystem and have access to state-of-the-art facilities on the 152-acre biotech campus. Companies will also have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with HudsonAlpha scientists.
Become a mentor
- Mentors are essential to the success of HudsonAlpha AgTech. Once a week during the programme, they invite a mentor to 'fast network' with each of the participating startups during a two-hour session. There will be opportunities to mentor in person or virtually so that teams can benefit from your expertise wherever you are.
Criteria
- Applications are welcome from start-ups based anywhere in the world and innovating in any area of agriculture.
- You must move to Huntsville, AL for the duration of the programme to take full advantage of cohort programming and the strength of the local ecosystem.
- Start-ups must participate in person.
