For the new grants MAXQDA #ResearchForChange, they want to focus thematically on research projects centred on various aspects of women's empowerment. The Women's Empowerment Grant Cycle is a time dedicated to recognition and the promotion of women's rights and opportunities worldwide.

They want to give researchers the platform they need to give their research well-deserved recognition. Therefore, they are looking for research articles, where data is analysed with MAXQDA, that serve to empowerment women in a variety of ways (from a variety of disciplines) and seek to highlight and overcome the inequalities they face. In recognition of the indispensable role of women's equal participation in all dimensions, they will support early career researchers with 3 research grants.

    Eligibility criteria
    • #ResearchForChange grants are awarded to scientists at the start of their career. This includes anyone currently enrolled as a student in a higher education programme or a recent graduate who graduated less than three years ago.
    • They welcome candidates working in any language. MAXQDA is available in 13 languages and is used by thousands of researchers in over 150 countries. It is also fully Unicode-compatible, which means you can import, code and analyse your data in the language of your choice.
  • #ResearchForChange grants must be applied for and received as an individual researcher. If the research is carried out in collaboration with a team and the grant recipient wishes to pass on their award, this is at their discretion. However, the MAXQDA licence and training sessions will only be issued to the grant recipient and are not transferable.
  • The #ResearchForChange grants can be combined with another scholarship or grant, if you wish. The grant will be awarded on the basis of the following criteria: The relevance and applicability of the theme: "Embracing LGBTQI+ Pride" which must be described in the cover letter; the originality and creativity of the research proposal; a well-defined research question; description of field research methods and analysis methodology using MAXQDA.
