(UPAPH) is raising funds to build its headquarters.

As part of the construction of a headquarters for, the Union Provinciale de l'Association des Personnes Handicapées du Bam (UPAPH), they organised a big Rassandaaga. The ceremony was held on 5/12/2021 in sector 3 of Kongoussi..

On 2 and 3 December, visits were made to the Mayor of the urban district of Kongoussi and two UPAPH donors. These visits raised the sum of 100,000 francs (152.67 euros), and the municipality also agreed to the occupation of public space for the Rassandaga.

Rassandaga Day on 5 December began with a visit to the Kongoussi traditional chief's home to receive blessings for the success of the day. This was followed by a meditation at the church and a visit to Abbé OUERAOGO Hyacinthe, who was celebrating his silver jubilee on the same day. Afterwards, the crowd headed to the market to take part in the Rassandaga. The market square was packed with people, and a fund-raising event was organised on the spot, which made it possible to mobilise the sum of 75,000 francs (114 euros). The sale of local delicacies raised 280,000 francs (427 euros). In addition, board games and the sale of surprise envelopes raised 59,000 francs (90 euros).

Also present was the manager of the ONI restaurant in Ouagadougou and his team, who donated the sum of 100,000 francs (152 euros). It was a great moment of reunion for the sons and daughters of the locality. It was also an opportunity to make new friends. partnerships with other associations and target other donors.

Overall, the Rassandaga raised 714,000 francs (1,088 euros). The union would like to thank the municipality for its support, ABF for its many contributions and the various organisations and individuals for their assistance.
