RESILIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL COMPETITIVENESS PROJECT (PReCA)
AGRICULTURAL RESILIENCE AND COMPETITIVENESS. As part of the implementation of the Agricultural Resilience and Competitiveness Project (PReCA), sub-component 3.2 aims to ease the financing constraint for investors in the agricultural and agri-food sector by improving their access to finance. It will finance a cost-sharing mechanism (CSF) designed to provide partial support to farmers and agro-industrialists in the form of Counterpart Grants (CS) to finance their investment sub-projects (SP). This sub-component is implemented through two Windows:
► Window 1, which provides funding for 1,370 microprojects;
► Window 2, which plans to finance 536 medium- and large-scale sub-projects.
The Maison de l'Entreprise du Burkina Faso (MEBF) has been appointed Delegated Project Manager (DPM) for the implementation of Gateway 2 activities.
Gateway 2 will provide a subsidy to complement the sub-project leaders' own funds and those mobilised by them to implement their projects.
