The 25th cycle of grants from the Nations The United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence against Women is now open.

The United Nations Trust Fund is seeking proposals for demand-driven, civil society-led initiatives to end violence against women and girls for multi-year grants of up to $1 million in English, French and Spanish. The annual call for proposals is available in six official UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish).

We will prioritise applications that use an intersectional approach and adopt a 'leave no one behind' principle to work with the most marginalised women and girls (including, but not limited to, Indigenous women and girls, ethnic minority women and girls, LBTIQ+ people, disabled women and girls, older women, internally displaced women and girls (IDPs) and refugees, and women and girl survivors of violence). In addition, the UN Trust Fund welcomes proposals with a particular focus on organisational resilience and sustainability in complex and rapidly changing environments to ensure sustainable transformational change and facilitate rapid adaptation and recovery from challenging situations.

In this call for proposals, the UN Trust Fund gives priority to applications from local women's rights organisations (WROs) and civil society organisations (CSOs) led by and for marginalised women and girls; organisations with a local or community reach; and organisations that are the driving force behind the agenda to combat violence against women and girls in their communities and those that are at the forefront of reaching women and girls at risk and survivors of violence.
