The Mass Mass Challenge has launched its HealthTech Accelerator programme to accelerate high-impact digital health startups by forming partnerships with industry leaders.

The health technology community includes doctors, health professionals, scientists, policy leaders and business mentors all working together to improve healthcare through entrepreneurship.

Since 2020, health equity continues to be a top priority within Mass Challenge's digital health community of providers, government agencies, payers, pharmaceutical companies, startups and other healthcare organizations. With the support and guidance of Mass Challenge's partners, Mass Challenge has launched its Health Equity Initiative - the initiative's focus areas are:

• Identifying and reducing inequalities in health and care provision
• Improving access to care.
• Create more equitable solutions based on patient feedback (rather than one-size-fits-all solutions).
• Addressing the social determinants of health.
• Supporting minority entrepreneurs and providing them with the resources they need to succeed.

Eligibility criteria

• Mass Challenge accepts applications from startups all over the world. Any additional travel must be determined by you and your MCHT partner.
• While Mass Challenge supports a wide range of early to late stage startups, the HealthTech programme is designed to support mid-stage companies that have a validated product/solution ready for scale-up. See a more detailed breakdown of criteria:
  • Product / solution validated for scale-up - has enabled at least 2 proofs of concept (pilots).
  • 10 or more employees (preferred).
