SocEnv 2023 prize
Designed to recognise outstanding individuals who have innovated, inspired and gone beyond the expected in their recent work to protect, preserve or improve the environment, there are two prestigious prizes up for grabs:
- Environmental Professional of the Year 2023
- The Society for the Environment is looking for registered Chartered Environmentalists (CEnv), Chartered Environmental Practitioners (REnvP) and Chartered Environmental Technicians (REnvTech) who have excelled in their recent work.
- Video nomination pilot project
- SocEnv is committed to being an inclusive organisation. This year they are trialling video nominations as an option to make the application process easier and more accessible to more people. Video nominations should be a maximum of two minutes per section (nomination questions are described in the section below). The video application can be made with one video per section or all your answers to the five sections in one video.
- New entrant registered in 2023
- This is specifically available to those who have registered as a CEnv, REnvP or REnvTech since January 2022. Getting off to a flying start as a newly registered environmental professional is something to celebrate. They would therefore like to congratulate those who have prospered as a registrant in a short space of time.
