The mission of the Anton Jurgens Fund is "to combat and above all prevent material and immaterial poverty, particularly among the economically disadvantaged". The current translation of this mission is as follows: "To make a results-oriented contribution to helping vulnerable groups in society to meet life's basic needs, to live independently, to develop personally and to give meaning to their lives".
